A Slice of Villa: Mission Statement

The Villa Restaurant Group’s mission statement is something we treat with the utmost care. Here at Villa, we pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional experience to our Employees and Guests through our unique heritage, passion, and commitment to quality. While it’s a clear message, today, we’d like to share a bit of the background on our mission statement – why we have it, and why we’re always striving to uphold it.

Our mission is simple – we want everyone to feel welcome, have a wonderful experience, and understand who we are as an organization. According to our Chief Operating Officer Andrew Steinberg, our mission statement is a commitment to upholding our core values. Andrew explains, “The reason why we continually talk about our mission statement is because we want to do things for the right reasons. If we abide by our mission, the end results will be a byproduct of that. If we focus on our core values, our result will reflect that core value.” As a restaurant operator and franchisor, maintaining a relationship with our Guests and Employees that encompasses our mission is incredibly important.

Andrew explains that working backwards and focusing on our mission as the base of our business will create a positive byproduct that will branch out into other spaces. If we’re fulfilling our mission and upholding our core values, the rest of our goals will be easier to align. Having that cohesive nature as a company is imperative, regardless of industry. The fact that all our restaurants are working toward one common goal allows us a level playing field, no matter the role an Employee holds – whether it be our COO, or one of our field employees, we all have the same responsibility to consistently uphold our mission and uphold our core values.

How do we consistently do this? While no organization is perfect, we do our best to consistently be aware of our mission and core values. We’re always mindful that our ideals are being upheld and do our best to recognize Villa Restaurant Group employees who are doing exceptional work to meet our common goals. Overall, we do our best to stay diligent in understanding that our commitment is to our Guests and Employees alike and take that knowledge into every task we’re handling.
