Team Member Spotlight: Esmeralda Goes


Esmeralda Goes is the Assistant General Manager at our Orlando International Airport Food Hall where she oversees the operations of five brands: Villa Italian Kitchen, Green Leaf’s, The Market by Villa, Jersey Mike’s Subs and Asian Chao Oriental Eatery.

For Esmeralda, it all began on October 5, 2015, when she was hired and became the Co-Manager of Jersey Mike’s Subs. Her passion (which is her favorite of the 5 VRG Core Values) is evident in her daily interactions with her team -- she says, “coming to work is a joy.” She believes in everything she does and is a leader who shares her successes with her Team Members to award them the same opportunities to grow within VRG.

It is Esmeralda’s passion and integrity that trickles down to her Team and treating everyone like Family; then the Team shares that same Family Hospitality to our Guests. She also says that VRG’s innovative ideas continually improve our exceptional experiences to both our Employees and our Guests and is proud to be a part of the VRG Family.

Director of Operations, Ira Williams, describes Esmeralda as someone who cares for her people. Esmeralda goes the extra step and spends time training her Team Members so they can be confident in what they do providing excellent product and platinum service. She is a dedicated Team Member herself that goes above and beyond to “WOW” her Guests.
