VRG would like to recognize all our Team Members, as well as all men and women who serve our country! We thank you for your service!
At our Corporate Office, we have two Veterans we’d like to spotlight:
Ryan Juliano, Senior Business Analyst, who has been with VRG since July 2016, served seven (7) years in the Army, based in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. Ryan was deployed in Baghdad, Mosul, and Tel Afar as part of the Airborne Infantryman with the 82md Airborne Division. He did three (3) tours in Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom as a radio telephone operator, sniper, and fire team leader; he left the military as a Staff Sergeant. Ryan is proud to come from a military family - his grandfather served in the Army during WWII, his father, a Marine during the Vietnam War, and his older brother was in the Navy during the first Gulf War.
Mike Harkin, Construction Project Manager, who has been with VRG since August 2013 also served seven (7) years in the Marine Corp, stationed in North Carolina. He deployed twice to Iraq where he was in charge of Amphibious Assault Vehicles (floating tanks). Although Mike was injured in action and received a Purple Heart, after recovering from his injuries, he reenlisted in 2008 and deployed to Afghanistan (where he was again injured and received a Purple Heart). Mike retired as a Sergeant in 2011, and is proud of his military family - his grandfather served in the Army during the Korean War.
Thank you to Ryan Juliano and Mike Harkin for your service, as well as to all the Veterans at Villa Restaurant Group! We are proud to have you on our team!
